i saw stellan in River. what a performance. i was completely blown away. at the end i cried. and then they started dancing which was just so insane, the lights and everything, and i was laughing and crying. what an experience it was. i think this guy can do anything at all. you would never think of him as a romantic hero at this point but there he was in such an incredible love story with a deeply developed character and story line plus being a good detective story. amazing. i wish i could see him and meryl streep together in something with some meat on its bones.

Gosh what’s with some of the comments here mentioning that Rupert seems heartbroken since he was in love with Emma or something? The delusions are real when people can’t seem to differentiate between real and reel.He seems such a chilled out dude, I am sure he must have felt bad to know that someone found it horrible to kiss him onscreen but come on, they are friends, they both must have felt weird, he understands what Emma meant, this interviewer is just making her sound like a bad person, I love how unbothered Rupert looks lol. It was a scene which they both had to do, and they were professionals about it, though Emma seemed genuinely extremely uncomfortable while filming it though, but that’s okay, it’s just acting at the end of the day
